Privacy Policy
Your budget stays on your device by default.
Piggee Budget Planner is a personal budgeting and financial planning tool by Mood Pixel. It is not a bank, lender, or regulated financial institution. This policy explains how Piggee handles information on your device today.
Piggee is intended for general users and is not designed specifically for children.
Local data storage
Piggee currently stores the budgeting information you add—such as accounts (by friendly name only), balances, transactions, bills, categories, transfers, and settings—locally in your browser on your device.
You are responsible for securing access to your device and browser profile. If someone else has access to your unlocked device or browser profile, they may also be able to access Piggee while it is unlocked.
Where supported, Piggee is designed to encrypt locally stored budgeting data using a PIN you choose. HTTPS helps protect how the app is delivered to your browser; local encryption is intended to help protect stored budget data at rest on your device.
Security features
Piggee includes practical on-device security, including:
- PIN protection (required on first setup)
- Biometric unlock on supported devices, with PIN as fallback
- Local encryption of stored budgeting data, where supported by your browser and device
- Auto-lock after a period of inactivity or when the app is hidden (based on your settings)
These features improve privacy on your device. They do not replace good device security or careful handling of backup files you export. No security method is perfect; use a strong device passcode and keep your PIN private.
Sensitive information — please do not enter
Piggee is for budgeting and planning only. Do not enter:
- Bank account numbers or sort codes
- Debit or credit card numbers
- Card CVV or security codes
- Banking passwords or online banking login details
- Banking PINs
- Government ID numbers
- Other personally sensitive financial credentials
Use simple account labels such as Main Account, Bills Account, or Savings. Piggee does not need real banking identifiers to help you plan payday-to-payday.
No account or bank connection (current version)
Piggee does not require a Piggee login account today. It does not connect to your bank, process payments, or hold customer funds.
No financial advice
Piggee provides informational budgeting guidance only—including payday estimates, projections, and financial health snapshots. These are planning aids, not regulated financial advice. You remain responsible for your own financial decisions. Consider speaking to a qualified professional for advice about investments, debt, tax, or major financial choices.
Analytics and app improvement
Piggee does not currently use analytics or crash reporting to collect budgeting content. If we add privacy-conscious analytics or crash reporting in future versions to understand performance and fix bugs, we will update this policy. Those tools should not intentionally collect bank account numbers, card details, banking passwords, or other sensitive financial credentials.
Backups and browser data
You may export a backup file. Backup files are your responsibility to store safely. If you clear browser data, use private browsing, reset your browser, switch devices, or uninstall the app, your Piggee data may be lost unless you have a backup.
Future cloud features
Future optional account sync, cloud backup, or open banking features may require additional security measures, authentication, and updated privacy terms. We will explain those changes clearly before they apply.
Your privacy rights
Piggee currently stores budgeting data locally on your device by default. If future versions collect or process personal data online, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws, including the UK GDPR, such as access, correction, deletion, and data portability.
We will explain any future online data processing clearly before it applies.
Data deletion
You can remove Piggee data on this device by:
- Using Clear local data in Settings → Security
- Clearing site data for Piggee in your browser settings
- Uninstalling or removing the app from your device
Export a backup first if you want to keep a copy.
